Private Clients Team Director - Close Brothers Asset Mangement

Paul joined Close Brothers from Arbuthnot Latham after a 14 year tenure, latterly as a director in the Private Banking business. Over those years, Paul ran three of the private banking teams, establishing both the Media, Sport and Entertainment and Family Office teams. Aside from looking after some of Arbuthnot Latham’s largest clients, Paul also headed up the Bank’s motorsport activities. Prior to Arbuthnot Latham, Paul spent nearly eight years as a private banker in the London office of SG Hambros. Paul has over thirty five years of experience in the industry, having started his career at Coutts & Co back in 1985. Outside of his professional role, Paul is a keen member of the counsel at the Beaulieu 100 Club, helping to raise funds for special projects at the National Motor Museum. He is also a member of the Worshipful Company of Glovers and the Worshipful Company of Coachmakers and Coach Harness Makers as well as being a Freeman of the City of London. In his leisure time he is a director and trustee of TWODS Ltd, a theatre based charity in Tunbridge Wells in Kent.
